Why require more steps?

In android 11 when required to enter my PIN it was not required to take further action.
With the new and improved Android 12 we are required to click OK after entering the PIN. 
Makes no sense to me why you make it more complicated.

That can be fixed in the pin setting. When you set up your pin - it could be the same pin you use now- the option is on the bottom where pressing ok is not required

If you on the move alot in different places. Then the tap ok feature is more security than hassel. If some one walks away with your fone without your permission. They basically have infinite combinations to guess your password. They just tap til opens. Ok option limits them to 15 guesses. You know your situation
