I just wonder why unlocked is always last... Lol shouldn't it be the opposite? 😅

Cause unlocked don't have carrier barriers like locked devices do

Which is exactly why I'm wondering why unlocked is last...

Because Samsung for some reason still relies on the carriers like it's the galaxy s2 era, so their contract states that the carriers get updated first

Samsung has way more popularity now and can do the same thing apple has done since the iPhone released, tell the carriers no but they think they'll lose sales

That's unfortunate. Samsung definitely has the pull now. They should definitely man up and start taking charge.

Not really they aren't Apple. If samsung had their own os like ios then they have pull. But since they used Google and Android the carriers can refuse to activate their phones on their networks or refuse to sell them
Apple has gotten away with stuff because they have their own closed OS and make everyone millions

Just think of it this way, Carriers get it first. If there are major bugs, let them report bugs first, and then when UNLOCKED get the update, it will have been fixed
