TikTok crashing

I thought I might just post this here. Just in case you're having issues with the search feature

This might work for you guys I was having the same issue of tiktok immediately crashing. 

These steps might work. They worked for me 

1. Device cache wipe 

1a. Make sure app is fully updated 

2. Tiktok app data wipe followed by cache wipe 

3. Open app and log back in ( might have to try a few times may crash in attempts) 

4. Once logged in no crashing and no lagging.. been flipping through closing and opening app for about 20 mins no crashes

none of these tips worked unfortunately and I just got a tik tok update from the play store as well.
