Good afternoon I hope you're doing well.

If you're attempting to send higher resolution photos over text message, they won't send because the file sizes are too big to be sent over SMS because it's an old communication method.

There ARE ways around this however.

You can send large files to anyone that's nearby with Nearby Sharing, and Quick Share.

Or you can send photos via Google Drive (all you would need is the person's email to be able to send the link via Google drive)

I hope this helps.

Are you getting an error message or is it just not sending? Sometimes I have an issue where they won't send unless I turn my wifi off.

Are sending from Samsung gallery? If so, make sure it's your default photo gallery. I had the same problem. I could send from Google photos but not Samsung gallery. I changed the default settings and it now works.

Regardless of file size? My app (SMS Organizer) supports up to 10Mb max. No more. Gallery app uses messaging apps or nearby/quick share to transmit files. Not by itself.

Only Samsung "Gallery" is my favorite app for photos (pictures) videos (movies)

Use the quick share feature. It will upload the photo to Samsung cloud service and give you a link to send via text (or email) and they can view (and download) a high resolution image of your photo.

MMS attachments are usually automatically resized to fit the ~1MB limit so I'm not sure what's happening there
