One UI 6.1 and AI Press Release 2-22-24

In a Press release today it was announced that the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series, will start to see the 6.1 and AI features starting to roll out from end of March.  You can read all about it in the release at the link below

I hope S21 and S22 gets 6.1 soon, eventhough no AI

Is there anything in 6.1 other than AI additions? I have not seen it including anything outside of the ai features.

Lockscreen Widgets, animation improvements, more clock fonts, etc.

S21 will get Android 15 (One UI 7.0) and then One UI 7.1, then security updates until 2026

Who knows if they will do 6.1 for the lower devices, other than Samsung that is. The focus will change to Android 15 soon and the beta for ui 7 or whatever they decide to call it at Samsung. Stuff like widgets and such might come as updates and not the . 1 designation. Time will tell

They will do 6.1 for S21. It's been in internal testing since January and the current test build is GXB4, for the USA. S21 has received 4.1, 5.1, and eventually 6.1 (release date TBD) for the x.1 updates
