Hello, I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be missing calls due to no notifications. Let's see if we can get this resolved for you.

I have found an article with troubleshooting steps that may help. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001588/

If you're still not receiving notifications, I would suggest having a certified service technician take a look.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For service outside of the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html

In the phone settings make sure that the notification is correct. Also from the drop down select visual voicemail do the same for notifications. The. Look for an app from your mobile provider. T-mobile also calls it visual voice mail, it transcribes the message. You can can have it create a text or email which should allow give a message notification.
