I have a Samsung RT46K6000WW fridge. I was out of town for a week and because of an issue, my apartment didn’t have electricity for several days while I was gone. Because of this, the frozen food in the freezer (including meats) melted, and some of it spilled over the bottom insulation styrofoam (see pictures).

I cleaned it as much as I could, kept the fridge doors open for a few days, and tried putting activated carbon in the freezer, but it still smells horribly. Is there anything I can do to fix this? One person on the internet was recommending pouring vinegar water through the insulation (1 part vinegar, 1 part water). Does that make sense? Would it help?
