Samsung(Google) I don’t want your AI, “Circle to Search”, Assistant, or Perpetual Gesture “Hint” Bar -_- - I don’t want to hide it, shrink it, or change the color – I WANT IT GONE!

Sidenote: The current software update process is superior to Google’s separate partition design.

From the time it took me to gargle & brush my teeth (4-5 minutes) and check/respond to an e-mail ~ 2 minutes I had successfully downloaded and updated: S24U(~630MB) and Tab S9 Wi-Fi(~2987.43MB) and was back inside both devices all in under ~ 8-9 minutes.

I can use my phone while the update works in the background” – it is the same with Samsung, in fact, I sent the e-mail from the S24U while the update was downloading. Google’s process is agonizing because it takes anywhere from 20 minutes to almost an hour to finish updating even 25MB security patches. This has been true from Pixel devices, Motorola devices, Carrier devices, any device that utilizes Google’s process. BOTH processes require you to restart your device.

Samsung is superior to Google in MANY ways, I with recent changes it feels like they are losing their brand identity and reasons some of us choose them over a Google UI design device and I hate it.

Hmm - my Tab S9 Wi-Fi had NavStar [6.0.00.16](https://6.0.00.16) version - I downloaded [6.1.05.40](https://6.1.05.40) (same version on my S24U) - now my options are back and I got rid of that ridiculous perpetual line on my screen - Jezzus this is such a weird force - to each their own if you like it but give us the choice to remove it natively - !
