I've been disappointed to say the least. This is actually a new record in speed for me! Not a One UI 4 issue, 5G never wowed me since I got the phone. Verizon get your act together 😂

Im from Puerto Rico and my S21 Ultra runs better...much better in 4GLTE...I have come to think that 5G is fake, based on speed.

Nah it's real it's just 5G is still new infrastructure still has to be built out. And that takes a while.

.
It's not fake.
What some carriers are doing is they use 4g to the tower, then they broadcast 5g off the end of the 4g line.
So if authorities question them, they can say, "look, the phone is receiving a 5g signal".
It's like attaching a 3/4" water pipe to the end of a 1/2" water supply line and saying, "what do you mean - of course we're delivering water using a 3/4" pipe"
