Several days ago I submitted a suggestion here in the Z Fold5 beta forum that Samsung add options in Modes and Routines allowing users to start and end charging in the routines they create. This would allow full user control of battery charging without necessitating the complications of rooting the device and installing additional software which voids device warranty. I was somewhat surprised that this suggestion received no user interest. I was also disappointed that I received no response from Samsung, which was probably because there was no apparent user interest. This would be a great feature if Samsung would implement it, greatly simplifying efforts to maintain battery health.
