Although I've seen some posts complaining about the larger app icon size, I personally think it is a big improvement.
The previous app icon sizes in One UI 5 were extremely small (even in the biggest 4x5 grid size), leaving way too much awkward space between apps. It was frustrating that there were no settings to increase app icon sizes.
Personally I absolutely love the slightly larger app icons in the current 6.0 beta, so hopefully the larger size (or a least an app icon size setting that let's us choose our preference) will be kept in the stable release.
Samsung should just give us the option to increase or decrease the app icon size in the home settings app. This way everyone is happy. I personally love the larger icons.
