So I tried to unenroll from one ui 6 as this beta is very unstable. I use my phone for work so tried to roll back. The instructions say to use smarts witch to go back to previous firmware but it wouldnt download. I connected the phone to smartswitch but got en error off the bat that said "auto locker is on and can't download" written in top of the bootloader screen. The smartswitch app read "the download didn't finish, unplug phone, close smartswitch app, restart the app and go to emergency recovery" (more or less) but that didn't work either. So Im stuck in this beta, I renrolled and hope the next beta comes soon and fixes my android auto issue. When I try to talk hands free in my truck the other person can't hear me. So hear I am!

If you are having that many issues that others are not, you may need to do a factory reset on the beta. It could clear your issues. I know that's not ideal but someone else on here posted that they were having issues and once they did the reset it fixed most of them.

Factory reset clears most issues after you update to beta. Starting fresh is the best way to squash bugs. I understand it's frustrating to have to redo everything. But most of the time it's worth it. And also there will be app compatibility issues. Some will work some won't.

Try clearing the cache partition first. If you can avoid a full reset, that's ideal. But there may be no getting around it.

This helped me sort out a lot of issues when I updated to the beta. After clearing the cache the phone behaves almost identical to the stable oneui 5.1. Try it and see if it helps resolves your issues before full reset.

Here's the answer:  Go into settings and turn off the auto blocker.  Actually, it's already off, but there are sub-settings that are greyed out and left on, specifically block USB.  To turn that off, you need to turn the main auto blocker ON, then turn OFF the USB blocker, then turn the main blocker off again.  Now, everything under auto blocker should be off.  Download the software again.  This time, it will load.
