Battery life isn't good on the 3rd update

Since I've used the new update my battery has been horrible and my phone gets extremely hot. Please do what yall did on the 2nd update, it wasn't this bad

I never have this problems. Maybe u should reset or clear cache. Usually when i install new android version. It is best to reset everything
