Battery usage

I installed the beta yesterday on the unlocked s24 Ultra. So far the power usage seems to be less efficient that with the stable ui7. I've tried all the saving strategies and it's not horrible but I was hoping for an improvement in this area

I have been noticing the same. I am usually around 65 or 70 percent by lunch but am showing 50% around the same time since the beta.

I have not been using my phone that much today except in the morning. I was in Samsung Members a lot apparently! 😂

Close to 2 hours SOT.
8 hours of up time since last charge to 100%. The phone is at 75%. Pretty good actually. Possibly better than OneUI7 for me.

WiFi and Bluetooth on. GPS on when needed per specified app using Bixby Routines to manage. Makes a difference.
Implemented this with 7, but I think the battery life has improved with 8.
Keeping an eye on it!

Battery efficiency is what I am looking for with this refinement release. Betas usually don't come in strong in the first round. Something to keep in mind.

Also, remember to clear partician cache and for good measure use Galaxy Guardians and App Booster to optimize your apps.

My SOT took a hit of 25% when I upgraded from OneUI6 to 7. Now with OneUI8, I am at 50% of oneui6. Battery life is super awful.

I've been satisfied with the battery lately. I used my phone a lot during this day and while I had to charge before I got back home it was still satisfactory
