Beta 9 update and still missing the key feature im most interested in trying and that the call assistant or screening from the ui the automatic one similar to the pixels

I tried Airdrop at work today and my phone didn't see my coworkers iPhone 17....

They need to turn on on their end as well to allow it. Once that is done it should see it

I asked him if he could turn it on so I could test it.... I work with him closely and he's like 23, so I'm sure he didn't Boomer It... Lol

Hm... I have an iPhone 12 that I dont really use but I did test Quick Share on it. What I found is if I turn off AirDrop on the iPhone from the Quick menu and turn it back on it automatically turns on the everyone for 10 minutes.

Then I can see it in Quick Share.

Also something I noticed about most of my iPhone using friends that my Galaxy using friends dont have this issue... iPhone users refuse to ever update their OSes. This causes many problems...

I had to beg my friends to update their iPhones so we could have RCS messages back when that update happened for them. Some still haven't because their phones are too old.

Both people have to have their phones set to share with "Everyone" in the settings for the Air Drop feature to work.

At first samsung said the call screening was only for the s26 series but after the community got mad samsung gave in and will release it to the s25 series with one ui 8.5
