Can I back my phone up and restore while in beta software?

I'm not reverting back to One UI 3.1 I'll stay in 4.0 so I need to know this. Also, will the beta reinstall again after performing a factory reset?

Many folks do this.

Do a Factory Reset, then restore. It provides a bit of a clean slate.

Obviously best to use SmartSwitch on PC for backup restore

You will still be on the beta build even after the reset. So the beta wouldn't need to reinstall.

Use Frija to download the latest firmware for your phone.
After it's downloaded and decompressed, download Odin 3.13 or later. Load the firmware into Odin put your phone on download mode and connect it to your PC. Start the flash, and type phone will be wiped and restored.
You can find help on YouTube.
You must do a full wipe.
Then you need to withdraw from the beta program or the beta will be pushed to your phone again
