Clean Start

I have never factory reset my S25U since I got it last January. After going the beta testing for the UI 8.O, and now so far through the UI 8.5, I decided on a total fresh start, no use of any backups, everything installed & settings done from scratch.

I want to see how smooth this can get. It took a few hours, but no big deal. It's been really nice other than a small Theme Park color issue, but that is to be expected. Anyway, this is my battery after a full charge from late afternoon yesterday & it's good.

What screen resolution and brightness by chance? I have been thinking of factoring resetting myself

I use FHQ resolution with black backgrounds & all apps set to optimized for battery usage. This is a screenshot shot of my quick panel & my home screen using the same black background. I also do not use social media apps except X every now and then.

I was wondering how, but this explains everything. You probably had a Google Pixel before because you use Google so much.

I have never owned any Google phone brand.

It's just that the picture you put above is very similar to my friend's Pixel phone. I use everything from Samsung, but anyway, it's whatever people like.

I have never used pixel phone. The background, icons overall themes are my creations using Good Lock plugins. I actually would buy a pixel. I could have gotten a P10 Pro XL for $799 as a deal because I have YouTube premium. But the one thing that always holds me back is processing power and not being able to remove that Google search bar from the screen. It used to be also having smaller battery capacities, until the 10 came out.

Now devices I have owned that are near dead ringer to Pixel are OnePlus devices. Their Oxygen  OG is the nearest to pure android there is and it is my favorite one. For the money they are hard to beat, but there camera tech always falls behind.
