Extreme overheating and com.xshield.da failure

Anyone having a pop-up message with com.xshield.da keeps stopping? 

Tried force stopping, clearing data, etc. No change. Pops up every 3-5 minutes or so. 

Also phone battery temp about 115F

Bummer ... first I've read about this.

Might want to go to Device Care and check for any rogue activity apps.

Run Diagnostics routine at bottom of page.

And maybe change one or more settings to throttle back the phone.

A last resort would be to use Smart Switch to backup the phone, then Factory Reset, then restore. I've read where folks were having extreme issues and this helped alot.

I've tried, but nothing out of the ordinary. Other apps have joined the pop up party as well, like FB, but the heating issue has resolved itself seemingly

Are you observing any pop up saying phone is cooling down ?  Please stop using the device and call us at 1-800-726-7864 or request the location to the nearest Service Center.

Fortunately the heating issue has gone, but the popup appears every once in a while
