Google Messages Download Issues

There seem to be issues downloading messages when using Google Messages. I will get a notification stating that a message failed to download. I have to restart my phone and re-download to retrieve the message.

Try switching the app setting to send as SMS/mms as chat features for some aren't working for the beta

I've noticed a better consistency with turning WiFi off and letting cellular data retrieve it. There must be something wrong with the switchover between cellular and WiFi with messages

Thanks! I already sent the error report before posting. I just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing.
