What ever happened to Google messages getting a One UI theme?

I mean I use it now, and while it's not game changing or anything. It's so nice that it matches the other apps on my phone and adds the reachability aspect that I like about One UI

Hello @castamig001 ,

Project is more in a beta stage of its own and is being experimented with. If the app will be made available to all users is still not decided at this time.
