Google pay not working

When I try to add my credit card to Google Pay it keeps telling me my phone is rooted and it can't add it.

I don't believe it works during the beta.

betas aren't official software so Google pay won't work until official release

During beta program, the software is not yet certified by Google, and therefore Google Pay and other secure services may not work. We apologize for the inconvenience and will post a notice once it becomes certified by Google. You may try again at that time.
