Google pay not working

My Google pay stopped working after update. Is there a fix for this?

Correct ... GPay does not work on a beta OS, as it's not "official"

Can I remove the beta software? If so do you know how?

in Members app, navigate to Status, then select Withdraw

Then do a Factory Reset

Finally, fire up SmartSwitch on the PC / laptop (where it's installed) ...

then plug in the phone when prompted

Tap on Downgrade and do a Restore of the Backup you made *before* you installed the Beta.


BTW ... Samsung Pay is really no different than GPay, so you may not need to downgrade

Samsung pay still works as far as I am aware but yes Google pay will not work on Samsung beta software for security reasons.

I switched to Samsung Pay while using the beta (sane thing I did during last year's beta). When we get the final version of Android 12, everything starts working again and you can switch back to Google Pay. I stopped whining once I knew there were options.

During beta program, the software is not yet certified by Google, and therefore Google Pay and other secure services may not work. We apologize for the inconvenience and will post a notice once it becomes certified by Google. You may try again at that time.
