Hide apps feature not working

I have found the hide apps feature is non responsive

Via the pop-ups or within Settings (Home Screen Settings) ?

Please make a backup of your home screen in Samsung Cloud. When this is finished, clear the data from One UI home.

Long press on your home screen > Settings > About Home Screen > Tap the "i" in the top right > Storage > Clear Data

This will reset your entire home screen. Go back to Samsung Cloud and restore your home screen backup that you just made.
