Trying to open an app or long press an app on the bottom row of the app drawer doesn't work on inner screen. However, left and right page swipes still work and this portion of the screen is sensitive on the home screen. This has been reported.

Reported as well. It's because your taskbar is showing at the bottom of the screen. Open an app full screen and long press to the left or right of that bar to hide it. Then observe the issue is resolved. Hopefully they fix this, not a useful workaround to have to hide that..
