Just the fingerprint icon on

Is there way to keep AOD off and have our fingerprint scanner icon  show on the screen ? 

Would be nice to have this option since many others do this . 

Samsung please give us the option to do this

Go to settings, biometrics and security, fingerprints, show icon when screen is off, select it and you will find option to show when tapped.

Was hoping they would implement something that wouldn't require tap and would always be present minus the AOD

Being that the sensor location is fixed, wouldn't the image burn in after a while? Better that it shows when tapped.

On the samsung OLEDs burn in still happens?😵‍💫

While it's been greatly improved and it's rated "don't worry about it" it can and does happen.
