Try clearing the system cache of temp files. Power off your device, then press and hold both the up volume and the power buttons at same time. It will eventually come to the recovery screen. Once there and using the volume buttons, move the highlight over "Wipe cache partition" then click the power button, use the volume button to choose yes, click the power button. It will default to "Reboot system now" and click power button. Then see if that works.
