I got a Samsung galaxy S23 Ultra through AT&T a little over a month ago. 2 weeks ago, I started getting an issue in the Samsung internet app where none of the 3 buttons on the bottom navigation bar will work properly and they look grayed out. It happens more frequently when using the S pen, but also happens with just using finger.

I downloaded a different browser to use, Brave browser, and everything worked fine with that for a couple days but then the same issue appeared with that browser yesterday. I have tried restarting the phone and clearing partition cache and neither of those has solved the issue. So far this has only happened in internet browser apps, and I haven't had any issues with the wide array of other apps I use (music, recording, note taking, social media, email, video streaming, messaging, news, etc cetera).

I took the phone into the AT&T store where I ordered it from. They invoked the warranty and sent me a replacement one (certified restored, not brand new) that I received yesterday. As soon as I put my SIM card in and restored all my apps, photos, data, et cetera, I went to Samsung Internet and it was doing the exact same thing on the new phone.

Anyone have a similar issue or suggested solution?

Plz use Chrome and/or Google until the Beta program is over. There are several things not working and simply grayed out. That's the best solution I can apply. Thanks

I will try this. Are there any adblock options for Chrome? After switching to Brave the integrated adblocker is really nice.

In Private DNS, within More Connection Settings, I set Private DNS host name as: dns.adguard.com.

That blocks all ads within all apps. I use that with a combination of Brave and have pretty much stopped seeing ads.

I just tried this, but still seeing Youtube ads in Chrome. I guess I can just use Brave for Youtube and use Chrome for everything else until the Beta program is over and everything works for all browsers.

Oh I use Brave for everything. I guess the YouTube app is an exception. But all other apps are have ads blocked. I stopped using Chrome a while back.

Yeah I would prefer to use Brave, but with Brave I'm getting the issue of the navigation bar not working and being greyed out. I'm fine with using Chrome until I get the update, but when I use Chrome I get ads on Youtube even when using the adguard dns.

The same issue started happening in Chrome this afternoon. When it happens none of the navigation bar works, and the only way I can do anything is to tap the switch tabs button at the top of the screen at which point all the navigation buttons work. But I can rarely ever use the back button on an actual web page (which I need to do frequently). I hope this update comes soon for AT&T and actually fixes this issue on all browsers.
