Not sure if this is new but finally: notifications can't be cleared from lock screen unless the phone is unlocked. I've been asking for this since One UI 5 beta. Glad to see it's finally here

Just a tip, not sure if you know. You can view notifications you may have accidentally clear or someone else may have clear in Notification History in the notification settings

Thanks for the tip but I knew! It just seemed weird that I'd need to go there to see of something was cleared vs just not being able to dismiss it until unlocked

There is also a samsung goodlock application that I used called NotiStar that let's you view your notification history from the lock screen for a specified time period (see screen shot)
