Ever since I installed the One UI 6.0 beta, Google Pay says my phone hardware is not certified when trying to tap pay at retail locations. Anyone else?

Google Pay has never worked in the beta. The software isn't certified because it's still in beta. Use Samsung Pay if you want contactless payments during beta.

Thanks for that, as I have been experiencing the same problem.

It's always been this way. If you read the ToS and warnings prior to downloading and installing, this wouldn't be a surprise. Google Pay has never worked on a ONE UI beta program...ever.

You can use Samsung Pay for the time being till the beta is over and we are pushed to the official release.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

During beta program, the software is not yet certified by Google, and therefore Google Pay and other secure services may not work. We apologize for the inconvenience and will post a notice once it becomes certified by Google. You may try again at that time.
We appreciate your contribution to the Beta Program.

Regards,
One UI Beta Team
