Hi all,

Trying to register for the oneui beta. No banner is appearing. Not in the top or under benefits.

S21+ - I am on Verizon, but I have flashed the unlocked firmware and am the right U1 model.

Very confused.

Thanks for any assistance in advance šŸ™‚

Hmmmm...I seem to remember in the past that Verizon customers do not get the chance to participate in beta programs. I could be completely wrong, but I seem to remember the same thing at UI 3.0 beta with Verizon customers not being able to register...

That is true IF you're using the carrier locked firmware from Verizon. But unlocked firmware is the exact same thing as buying it from Samsung directly.

I have Verizon S21+ with flashed unlocked firmware and also no 4.0 beta banner..I think even though we flashed unlocked firmware I think Samsung still sees our s21's as from Verizon and not true unlocked models..just my thoughts..

Idk, I worked for Verizon for awhile and this worked fine on the oneui 3 beta. Also saw a Samsung community manager literally advise flashing to unlocked build to participate on the "coming soon" post from Aug 31st

Sure thing--but for those asking that they are on Verizon and not seeing a banner--that's the reason...Verizon is not participating...if you are unlocked phone, then you should see a banner right chief?

No banner, but unlocked. That's the issue
