Several posts with this question. It's the "People" edge panel. De-select it in edge panel settings and it will go away. Hopefully this gets fixed or someone comes up with a better work around soon.
It's an edge app. It's recommended you turn it off.
Settings > search for "edge panel" > select "edge panels" x2 > select "Panels" > ensure "people" is not selected.
At least that's what I've gathered from beta mods and others. I didn't have it on when I installed the update and it stayed off for me so I'm not personally familiar with its problems.
