RCS not connecting with Google Messages

RCS has not connected since the software install, having to force everything using SMS.

Have you tried to delete Google messages and reinstall it so it can try and setup RCS again? Mine is showing it is connected and ready. I don't have any contacts that use it though so i don't know if it actually is working or not.

Mine is still working also. I would try clearing the cache of both messages and carrier services and then restart. Idk if it will fix it but worth a shot.

The Google Messages beta? I re-enabled it to see if it would work and still trying to verify after 10 hours, and I do run the beta. I'll leave the beta and install the public release, and check it out.

Try turning off RCS then uninstall Google messages, then redownload and let it set back up. I am running beta OS and beta Google messages and having no issues.

You can also try going to connections under settings and turning off sim then back on. I saw on a different post that worked.

@djtheraven found that if you turn off your wifi, go into Connections in your Settings and down to Sim Card Manager, disable your Sim for maybe 10 seconds, and re-enable. Worked prefect doing that after 10 hours of watching, Trying To Verify.
