I haven't noticed that but I do notice that when I open the app, regardless if its cached or not, it opens blank and then the conversations pop up, disappear for a split second and then repopulate. Its a blink and you'll miss it effect but it happens every time. Sometimes moving back out of a conversation to the main messages screen doesn't work for me either.
