I know this may have been addressed but I noticed when I have my phone on standard scrolling there's a bit of lag and stutter but on the adaptive mode there isnt I'm assuming it's a bug??

That's what's gonna happen. Standard vs Adaptive is all about refresh rate. Since adaptive has a higher refresh rate, it makes everything seem seamless. Standard is gonna be a little jumpy because it's refresh rate is half of adaptive

In theory, standard mode saves battery. How much?
Probably not worth the stutter.

That highly depends on the content being shown on the screen as well as resolution. No true answer to this unless you have 2 phones with the same brightness/resolution/settings and apps to test on
