Watch 6 OneUI Beta Jail

I have not been wearing my watch 6 Classic that much and just downloaded the update shown below. 

Looks to be a beta version still. 

How much longer until stable version?

Can't use Google Pay on a beta OS due to security. 

Hopefully, soon. Which beta version is this... 3 or 4?

It might be 5 or 6 actually. Just something you deal with when agreeing to testing beta software. I've read a couple of places it may be the final beta . So hopefully in a week or two

I keep being told my Watch 6 Classic is ineligible. Why are they testing BT models only and not both?

Carriers don't want to participate in the Beta. While you might have an unlocked watch, updates still come from your carrier!

That should be besides the point. I worked on a mobile OS and we were able to deliver betas all the time despite carriers. As long as we didn't touch the network stack until a release build that they certified.

I wasn't trying to tell you not speak here, just ask your carrier why they won't allow Betas on their LTE plans
