Weird 5G icon

Why the 5G icon was changed? This one looks ugly.

5G icon being displayed with out border is T-Mobile required 5G icon. On Samsung unlocked devices we show 5G with a border around it.

Thats my point. I am using TMobile SIM card and why on earth I have the 5G with border?

I'm On T-Mobile... old sprint account converted but not fully converted. unlocked s21 ultra. no borders

My beta 2 unlocked Galaxy S21 has that icon too with a white box around it. I'm on Verizon. My only issue with it is that it no longer shows when I am connected to the faster millimeter wave 5G network anymore
