I almost purchased a new iPhone 13 but after playing with one in the store the s21 is light years ahead of the iPhone.

Yea, years ago, when Apple was pretty much the only option, was in their ecosystem for a long time.

I prefer the "more open-ness" of the Android planet ... to rely on only *one* single vendor for a phone ecosystem, to me, is not a good thing for users.

As an iPhone owner I will say I get angry at times navigating on the iPhone. Lack of quick toggles, I tend to swipe down thinking I can access the notification bar.
There's so many things that android does better for using it one handed. Non scrollable widgets. Pain in the **bleep** just to apply as custom icon. The worst crime is the back button is always on the top left where I'm so used to just swiping to go back on an app 😭
