I 1st try the clear cache to see if that fixes the issue. Which didn't in my case. I ended up doing a factory reset and only restore messages, contacts and stuff like that. I do not restore any setting as I've had issues with the setting transferring properly, so I just go through and manually change the settings again. Other than some minor issues, my phone is running very smoothly.
We do not recommend doing a master reset after the update unless you have major issues that affect usability of the phone. Clearing Cache should suffice in most cases.
