A factory reset only deletes the /data and /cache partitions - the /system partition is not affected, so the beta operating system will boot up. You will have lost all user data, however, and will have to log into your accounts again, install apps, etc.
Ok, so request to leave beta, back up again to PC, then factory reset? How do I go back to original UI? I'm passing the phone to someone else to use from now on.
Hello, If your intention is to give the device to someone without having the Beta software, then please do the needful as below:
1) Back up all your data (if you need to keep certain data) via Smart Switch on your PC
2) Withdraw from Beta (Your Samsung account is linked to the Beta registration. Withdrawing from Beta before handing your device away would be more convenient in the future)
3) Factory Data Reset your phone (Optional)
4) Connect your S24 to PC > Smart Switch > Click on "Downgrade" or "Emergency Software Recovery" option > Follow the instructions to start the rollback process.
