Ya'll know, this is kind of an unexpected question, but does anyone know if this next one UI update will allow us to video call with Apple? As we know, IOS 15 allows IOS users to video call us, but we can't video call them through the system phone app, besides 3rd party apps.

Have you researched whether Android 12 supports this functionality?

Isn't this more about some app supporting this functionality, moreso than the base operating system (Android)?

We understand the curiosity but it is a different concept on Android phones. On most android phones, Video call is going through carrier infrastructure and using 5G procedures to establish a video call. It may not be possible to be moved to web like a face time call which sends a web link for a android user to join. A face time call is more like a google duo call than a call app integrated video call on android phones.

Yea google duo does a similar thing with a link to the web. Google Duo is the official video calling app on samsung phones so it is integrated into the phone app and messages. Just create a link for people to join your call or have them download Google Duo since it's available on all platforms.
