What does the repair apps option in the 1ui beta 3 recovery do

It clears data partition cache as well as refreshes your app indexing. This could be useful when you've had a system update and are experiencing app issues.

Nothing... It use to clear the davlik cache and force android to re-optimize apps. But currently it doesn't seem to work...
Edit: This did not work in Beta 2, but DOES work in Beta 3.

It works for me ... using beta3 on 21 Ultra Unlocked
