Band Selection for the unlocked phones

I currently have the unlocked s21 ultra but have to use a third party app to be able to pick my mode selection/band selection . It's useful when you don't want to use your 5g connection or if the 5g signal is bad that way you can revert 4g . 

Some carrier branded phones already have this option

Some phones don't have the option. It might have something to do with the provider. I don't have network mode on my unlocked s21 on Verizon.

Yup am on Verizon as well, unlocked some have the option. Would be nice

I'm running an Unlocked 21 Ultra direct from Samsung, using Consumer Cellular as provider, using an AT&T network SIM card (you can also choose T-Mo SIM with CC).

Mine is also unlocked from Samsung and don't have the option. I have to use Samsung band selector from the play store to select 4g only.

That's odd , I have s21 Ultra snapdragon but this is what mines shows . Is your phone unlocked

Option to switch 5g/4g is available based on carrier preference.
