We need the ability to remove carrier apps that come with the phone regardless of what the carrier wants. No one wants to be forced to keep a T-Mobile or Sprint or AT&T app on their phone and have no option to get rid of it. We want these apps deleted by default and we do not want any of these third-party apps on our phone when we get it. If we want the app we will install it ourselves. The only apps that should be on the phone or the Samsung and Google apps that come by default since those are most likely to be useful to the user. Also, do not have duplicate apps. If Samsung has Samsung Notes, do not install Google Notes. If there is Samsung gallery, do not install Google photos. Simple things like these would go a long way into making 1uy 4.0 an excellent upgrade. Also please consider adding a built-in visual voicemail into the phone app so we don't need to call or voicemail or use the useless carrier visual voicemail.
Also make google messages default for ALL regions in the world rather than splitting them up and having some on Samsung messages. The key to a successful os is uniformity, consistency, and smooth operation/animations.
