Fix swiping in recent apps screen

When in recent apps via the recent app button, unless your finger is right on the app you can swipe through the apps. If your finger is in between apps and you swipe nothing happens. I believe on Android 11 you could swipe no matter what (but could be wrong). The reason this is a problem is because the gap on the right side is where your thumb naturally rests. See circled area in attached image.
