I always wanted to use a custom icon packs on my phone but I can't because One UI Home still doesn't natively support icon masking. It's about time to support this, Samsung. I really don't want to use another launcher on my phone. Please add native support for icon masking to your phones.

In the Samsung stores there's an app called good lock that gives more customization to Samsung phones literally created by Samsung, in the good lock app there's a theme park module that allows you to import and create custom app icons

Yeah, I know about that but it still applies the to icons to the native One UI Home and because the native One UI Home doesn't support icon masking, it can glitch and make apps either go invisible or just not get a custom icon to them.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We understand how important visual consistency is for many users, and the ability to apply custom icon packs—including proper icon masking—has been a long-standing request from the community. Native support for icon masking would definitely enhance the personalization experience in One UI Home without relying on third-party launchers.

We’ve shared this suggestion with the appropriate team for consideration in future One UI updates.

Best regards,
One UI Beta Team
