The user used to be able to have more control of the GUI in the default messaging app. Like being able to have options on shapes of bubbles and complete control of the colors of the bubbles. I would like to see those options come back as well as being able to go into the apps main settings to chance chatroom settings instead of going to setting in the "chat room".  Please give us those options back. I've been with the Galaxy series since the first one. That's the only thing I have dislike about the evolution of the default app. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would really like this back...

I agree :hundred_points: its crazy how they've taken those features out throughout the years instead of giving us more options

Another thing is that the chat room is a bit dull & boring compared to google messages & imessages... it just feels sad to text in it

Im currently using googles & honestly it looks much better has a "live chat" feel to it more like how a messaging app should be

I use the default Samsung Messages app and love it. It has the ability to change the wallpaper of each conversation, and it takes on the different colors of the new wallpaper based theme colors.
