Along with the music player opened in expanded view throughout the UI automatically or with an option to do so there should also be an option to have it as a widget to put on your phone screens.

Yes this would be fantastic to have a now playing widget that works with all media as a widget for the home screen the new now playing notification in One UI 6 looks great and would make a great widget
