My phone does not turn on when I receive messages

Hopefully they did not take this off for good but my phone does not turn on when I receive messages from samsung messages app. The screen would always turn on but it dosent anymore.

Have you checked to make sure that you have notifications for that application turned on?

Yes I do receive the notification it's just when my phone is off and I receive a message the screen doesn't turn on but the message notification I can hear it. It's just the screen dosent wake anymore after the update

Thank you for your message.

Have you checked your "Brief pop-up Settings" for incoming notifications?  You can set different lighting options when your screen is off.

Please repost again if that does not meet your requirement.
