I don't know if this is a bug or not, but in OneUI 5, if you swiped up for the recent apps, the current app being swiped up would follow your finger everywhere. Now it only follows up to about half way and stops which looks a bit janky and not as smooth.

Is this something that's going to remain like this? Could it be changed back?

An image of what I'm talking about. You can tell I'm holding the recent app and my finger is all the way at the top of the screen

Whereas here you can see the app follows my finger all the way to the top of the screen

Overall OneUI 5 had a smoother feel since the phone interacted with your finger throughout the animation rather than cutting short half way up.

I think it's intentional to show that it's transitioned into the task switcher, there's a vibration that goes along with it "snapping" into the multitasking ui. I suspect this is a change made by Google on a system level to create a more consistent experience as now long swiping up will always put the user in the multitasking experience, whereas before it took longer and sometimes the task switcher wouldn't open so you would go home instead. Imo, better overall experience, although the Samsung gestures are still miles better

The vibration was there already though. I find that everything acts the same way except for the app following behavior.
Like I said, to me it just feels a bit off and a little bit of a step backwards in terms of fluidity of the UI.
