Hello! I would like to suggest a new feature for the three-button navigation bar: a 'hold-to-preview' predictive back animation. Currently, predictive back previews are limited to gesture navigation, but users who prefer the traditional button bar would benefit greatly from this visual feedback.
Specifically, I am requesting that holding down the back button triggers a smooth, fluid animation that shrinks the current window to preview the destination screen before the action is committed. It is crucial that these transitions are highly optimized and not choppy, maintaining a consistent high frame rate that matches the S24 Ultra's 120Hz display. Adding this would make button navigation feel modern, responsive, and as premium as the rest of the One UI experience. Because I notice that animations are much choppy/weird when you open or close the app (Go to home). Like it would take a second for the app to register opening (Like you could feel the delay) vs having the one bar navigation. But yeah, it would be cool to add predictive back animations to the 3 buttons gesture, and making apps more optimized for the 3 button guesture.
